Funny story behind this painting. Several weeks ago, it was beautiful and the urge for plein air painting was overwhelming. I headed up to Nockamixon State Park and when I got there, the wind was fairly strong and the wind chill was, well, damn chilly. The easel kept blowing over, so I wound up painting inside my truck - using the steering wheel as my "easel".
