Sunday Afternoon

Sundays have always been one of my favourite days. The day has an easy, relaxed pace. I headed out at 10 am to paint this, and I quickly found a spot to set up on the bridge in Peace Valley Park, in shade and out of the cross breeze which can get pretty intense. Several people stopped by to watch and chat, thank you everyone for your kind comments.

There is a unique feeling created by the sunlight, water and the still young leaves on trees that is is ethereal in this place. You can still smell the warming earth opening up, as plants emerge. No wonder it is a sanctuary.
