My apologies to everyone for not posting these past few days, it's been quite busy, but all good stuff.
Last night, the Philadelphia Sketch club had it's monthly meeting. It was time for their annual report and elections for the Board of Directors and non-officer positions to the Board. I'm thrilled to let all of you know that I was elected to the Board of Directors and will be serving as the Board Secretary.
I was interviewed this weekend by a reporter from the Philadelphia Inquirer for my role in helping with the Rebuilding Ray Fund. I'm not very good at those types of things, so I hope I don't sound like a goof. The article which is about Ray and the community of artists who gathered together to help, will appear in next Sunday's edition.
And I realized the other day that I did not set up a page on my website so that people who could not attend the show could see the works. (Deep sigh) The devil is in the details . . . so tonight, I'm posting one of the works that is for sale at the Main Street Gallery. If you are interested in this work you can contact the gallery directly at: 215.933. 8125, ask for Jonathan or Anna. You may recognize this image, as it was accepted into a local show that was juried and curated by Madeleine Viljoen, the director of the La Salle University Art Museum.
And to all the mothers out there, may you have a wonderful, and very happy Mothers' Day!
